Pick up the phone and call or text (604) 632-4959, or write to Ali@Sedighi.ca. We keep Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific hours; on an Ottawa clock that runs from midday until 9 in the evening, handy if you only get to paperwork after the trucks are parked. We usually reply within one business day. You'll hear back from a senior strategist, not a sales team.
What happens next
Tell us the basics
Business, city, website and the problem to solve.
We review it
We look at your site and local search results first.
We talk it through
A senior strategist calls you back with specifics.
Three ways to reach us
- Call if you want to talk it through now. If we're on another call, leave a short voicemail with your trade and your best callback time.
- Text if you're on a job site and can't talk. A two-line text is enough to start.
- Email if you want to send figures, screenshots or reports from a previous agency.
All three reach the same person. Use whichever suits your day; contact buttons appear on every page of this site.
What to include in your first message
You don't need a polished brief. These five details let us give you a useful answer quickly:
- Your trade and main services, for example furnace and air-conditioning replacement, or basement renovations.
- Where you're based and the wards you serve. The areas page lists all 24 if you want to be precise.
- Whether French-speaking customers call you now, and whether anyone on your team can serve them in French.
- Your average job value and roughly how many jobs a month you'd like to add.
- What's not working: few calls, the wrong calls, high ad costs, a slow website, or a previous agency that didn't deliver.
A template you can copy
If it helps, adapt this:
Hi, this is [Your name] from [Business name]. We do [trade/services] and work mostly in [wards or neighbourhoods]. Our average job is about [$ amount] and we'd like [number] more jobs a month. About [share] of our callers speak French. Our main problem right now is [problem]. Best time to reach me is [time].
Send it by text or email, or read it out on a call.
What happens next
- We reply, usually within one business day, to confirm we've understood your situation and to suggest a time to talk.
- First conversation, free for eligible trades businesses (30 minutes). We go through your numbers, look at your current profile and website, and tell you what we'd do first, including whether a French track or Gatineau marketing makes sense yet.
- A written recommendation. If we think we can help, you'll get a short plan with the services, the wards, the language mix and the monthly cost. See pricing for the plan levels.
- You decide. No pressure and no lock-in. Plans are month-to-month with 30 days' notice.
If we don't think we're the right fit, or that marketing isn't your bottleneck right now, we'll say so.
If you're writing about a French campaign
Tell us a little more if French is part of your question. Useful details:
- roughly how many French-speaking callers you get in a typical month;
- who on your team, if anyone, can handle a call or a site visit in French;
- whether you already work with a French copywriter or translator;
- whether you're thinking about Gatineau as well as Ottawa.
With that, the first conversation can cover whether a French track is worth testing now, what a sensible first budget looks like, and how to brief a professional writer. We'll also be clear about our part: we plan, structure and measure the campaigns, and we recommend professional French copywriters for the words themselves.
Before you get in touch
It helps to have a look at the services hub to see which service matches your problem, and the FAQ for answers about contracts and ownership. And a reminder: Ottawa.Marketing is a marketing and business consulting service. We don't do trade work, so please don't contact us for a repair or installation; we'd only send you back to a local contractor.
Frequently asked questions
Can I write to you in French?
Our conversations and reports are in English. A short message in French is fine and we'll reply in English. For French campaign copy, we recommend you engage a professional French copywriter, and we brief them.
Is the first conversation free?
Yes. For eligible trades businesses the opening half-hour is on us, and you're free to walk away afterwards.
Why is the phone number a 604 area code?
The group is headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia. The number reaches the same senior strategist who would plan your Ottawa campaigns.
What if I just want a second opinion on my current agency?
That's fine. Send us what they report to you and we'll tell you honestly what looks right and what's missing.
